The Future of Broxted Village Hall
A public meeting to discuss the Hall
Wednesday 1st November at 8 o'clock in the Hall
Do Broxted residents want a village hall or should the building be abandoned? Few people use it regularly and it costs more than a £1,000 a year just for insurance.
Broxted Parish council is considering taking responsibility for the maintenance, management and weekly running of the hall, since the four people who form the hall management committee no longer want that sole responsibility.
But before any decision is made on the future of the hall, parish councillors want to know what residents think. To find out, a public meeting has been called for Wednesday, November 1st starting at 8pm in the village hall.
Come and have your say about the hall. Do you want to keep it ? Do you want to help to maintain it? What should your parish council do?
Anybody who is unable to attend the meeting but has views on the hall's future should contact Jenny Oliveira on:
Tel 01279 850348
or email jenniferoliveira@mac.com
before November 1st.
Important decisions need to be made concerning the future of our Village Hall. Please come to the meeting to make your views known.
